Iraia Torres Rodriguez is an international student who joined our team in October 2024 as an Artificial Intelligence intern.

Originally from Spain’s Basque Country, Iraia is currently pursuing a degree in Electrical and Automation Engineering at Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK) in Finland. Over the past few years, she has developed a solid foundation in programming, data analysis, and automation technologies.

In addition, she has completed a minor in Adaptive Robotics at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, where she gained a deeper understanding of robotics, machine learning models, and their applications in real-world scenarios.

As part of her internship, Iraia will be writing her bachelor’s thesis, further developing her expertise in AI and predictive modeling with the aim of graduating in the upcoming year.

She will be contributing to our work in the development of predictive models for railway data and assist in automating onboarding processes at DT Services and Consulting. She is excited to apply her skills to solve practical issues and collaborate with our team on innovative projects.
